Ancient Egyptian Gods

Carter and Sadie Kane discovered in an earlier novel of this series that their family is directly related to ancient Egyptian gods and as a result are able to use the magic that stems from this ancient history. Carter and Sadie did not know each other well because they were raised separately after their mother's death.
