Summary
Back in D.C., in December, Sally debriefed about her time in Italy while keeping the business card a secret. She learned shortly after that Teddy proposed to Irina, and she accepted. That night, Irina went to Sally’s apartment and they shared an intimate night. The next morning, the women could not reconcile Irina’s engagement to Teddy, and they hadn’t seen each other since. Sally prepared for her next assignment: determining whether Henry was a mole at the Agency’s New Year’s Eve party. Saddened by the situation with Irina, Sally allowed herself to have many drinks. She felt confident in her understanding of Henry and employed her usual tactics to get his attention.
