Chapter 2, How We Lost the Way: A Hawaiian Legend Summary and Analysis
The Kingdom of Le Muria was a legendary continent with the Hawaiian Islands at the tip. The people had their spiritual link with God and were called the Children of God or the Children of the Rainbow. Eventually, the children lost their connection. They took the game too seriously. One of the Kahuna withheld his wisdom when it was needed and others began to do the same thing. The Rainbow began to fade and one night it didn't come.
