Summary

In Chapter 23, which returns to the first-person point of view, when Conway accused Holly of killing Chris to get him to leave Selena alone, Holly shouted at her that she did not kill Chris. Conway pointed out that if Holly did not kill Chris, she knew who did kill Chris and hid the phone to protect him. Mackey interrupted the interview by suggesting that he and Conway go outside. Moran knew that Mackey planned to do something while he was with Conway alone. He wanted to yell at Conway to be careful. A few minutes later, Conway came upstairs and told Moran that Mackey was waiting for him downstairs.
