David Mamet
David Mamet is a renowned playwright, screenwriter and director. His most famous work, Glengarry Glen Ross, was both a successful play and movie. He is also the author of the plays, American Buffalo and Waiting for Godot among others. Waiting for Godot was a controversial work that was roundly criticized by a female critic who accused Mamet of misogyny. The play was about misogyny but Mamet himself was not a misogynist. It was an example to him of the hysteria of which Liberals are guilty when they think those who they perceive as powerful are abusing those who are weak, defenseless and victims.
