Summary
Chapter 15 is titled “Slippery.” Styx puts all the items from the junkyard in an old wagon and they go home. He warns Caleb and Bobby Gene to coordinate their stories before their mom asks where they have been all afternoon. Caleb and Bobby Gene ask if Styx has ever done an escalator trade, and he says he once found a rusty harmonica that he eventually traded for an iPod. He shows the iPod as proof. Styx suggests holding onto the money, but Bobby Gene insists they split it now. They plan what they will do with any money they have left over when they buy the moped.
