Chapter 5-8 Summary
As the story continues in chapter five Percy, Tyson, and Annabeth are walking through camp Half-Blood. They make their way to Chiron's lodge and find him packing. Chiron has been blamed for poisoning the tree. Percy and Annabeth know he is innocent but Chiron insists on leaving. Percy and Annabeth know that an enemy named Kronos is responsible although they have no proof. Chiron advises Percy and Annabeth to not act to hastily reminding them that last summer Kronos baited Percy into a trap that almost cost Percy his life. Chiron tells Annabeth to stay with Percy and remember the prophecy. Percy asks if that is the prophecy that refers to himself that no one will tell him about but Chiron and Annabeth just look at each other and refuse to speak.
