Summary
Chapter 29
After Finn and Jon vanish into the crowd as Chapter 29 begins, Brian helps Puck search for Gabe in vain. Puck notices a commotion by the bonfire, so Brian explains people are making sea wishes which they write using charcoal from the fire and toss over the cliff. They finally find Gabe in the pub, and when Puck informs him of Malvern's visit and asks why he did not tell them, Gabe admits he was afraid they would get hysterical and insists he did his best, leading Puck to the conclusion that it is up to her. Puck leaves and is joined by Finn who informs her that he sold his car to a tourist.
