Summary

Chapter 24

In Chapter 24, as Puck signs her teapots in the back room of Fathom & Sons, she explains to Finn that Sean did not agree to sell her a water horse and she did not agree to buy one. When Puck admits to being nervous about riding in the parade for the Scorpio Festival, Dory Maud does not understand why Puck would risk death and look like an idiot. She notes that though Puck's father would be displeased, his wife was a hellion who tried everything other than the races. Dory Maud agrees to give Puck an advance on the teapots if Puck helps set up the festival booth. Finn still does not understand why Puck is not riding Dove, reminding her that she decided against riding a capaill on principle because of their parents.
