Summary
Sophie dreams of Tedros, and she is awakened by Rafal when she says the prince’s name. Rafal reveals the Storian has lost track of Agatha and Tedros. Sophie silently begs the ring to change the name on her hand, but it does not. Rafal questions why she keeps hiding her hand. She refuses to show him and sneaks to cut her finger before he forces her to show him, obscuring the name. After she refuses to answer why she touched the picture of Tedros and Agatha, Rafal flies her to her class. Before leaving, he warns her that she must kill Tedros and Agatha, or he will know she is against him. Sophie then sees a white mouse carrying a stick of some kind.
