Summary

Nine months after Sophie and Agatha return to Galvedon, Sophie prepares a play to tell a made up story of their time at the school. Her father Stefon is going to marry in one week and Sophie is unhappy about the arrangement as he is marrying her deceased mother’s best friend. That night, she learns the wedding has been moved to the next day, and she will have to start working with her new stepmother to help provide for the family. Meanwhile, Agatha refuses to tell her mom about the school and wonders why she feels so miserable. Agatha finds Sophie at the grave of the later’s mother and tells Agatha that she was a miracle child after her mother had lost two others. Her father had cheated on her mother with the woman...
