Part Eleven Summary
As the Corinthian approaches Morpheus' castle with Daniel, he encounters Cain. The journey to the castle has become treacherous. Cain travels with the Corinthian. At the castle, the guardians let them in, but there is nothing to do except wait for Morpheus's return. Morpheus is outside Faerie, where Nuala has called him. Nuala thought she was helping Morpheus by taking him out of the Dreaming, not hurting him. Morpheus tells Nuala that he killed his son Orpheus twice. Although Orpheus wanted to die, Morpheus feels guilt for first abandoning him and then killing him. Nuala suggests that Morpheus could flee from the Furies, but Morpheus says he must return to the Dreaming. Nuala is sorry she's called him away. Morpheus asks if she is ready for her favor, and Nuala asks Morpheus to love her as she loves him. It's not...
