Part Eight Summary
Moonday, Morpheus attends to five children looking for their mother. He mitigates a dispute between two fantastical beings. He visits the dreams of a boy in Hong Kong and eats in a meal dreamed of by a chef in Sri Lanka. He makes a decision whether to give a premonition to a young girl that could unite South Africa. He gives a tortoise a dream of her long-dead love. On Truesday, he hears a report from a nightmare and wanders the Dreaming, finally going into Nightmare.
On Wodensday, Morpheus goes to the castle. He tours the cellar and walks through the halls talking to the staff. Finally, he goes to his throne room.
