Barbie
Barbie goes shopping with Wanda and insists that she does not dream. Barbie designs her face as a chessboard, and they take the subway where they encounter a beggar woman who is afraid of dogs. Barbie feels bad for the woman, but Wanda tells her to toughen up. At breakfast, Barbie says that she stopped dreaming around the time she split with Ken and moved from Florida to New York, but she still remembers some parts of her former dreams. As a child, she was not allowed to read comics, because she was expected to be daddy's little lady. She notices a blocked street and sees Martin Tenbones who gives her the Porpentine. Wanda takes Barbie back to her apartment where she sits in her room alone, holding the Porpentine and remembering her dreams. She tries to convince herself they were not real. Hazel comes to seek advice...
