Chapter 4, Beginning to See the Light Summary
Barbie has been told that they are at the most dangerous point in their journey, and she is miserably hungry and cold. Wilkinson stops singing when Luz chides him for the noise. Wilkinson mentions the Hieromancer, and Barbie, remembering him, asks what happened to him. Wilkinson responds that the Hieromancer is dead if he is lucky. Wilkinson hopes that Barbie will know what to do once they reach the Hierogram because the rest of them have no idea. They stumble upon the corpse of the Tantoblin, and Luz, after reminding them that she knew he was dead, points out that he is still holding a message for them.
