Summary

In “Chapter 12,” Adele tries to keep her eyes closed so she will not be afraid of the creepy mask her attacker is wearing. Her attacker injects her with a needle that is painful.

In “Chapter 13,” Will runs after Elin and tries to talk to her again. She feels as if he has been trying to fix her for years, and worries that he is getting frustrated that it is taking her so long to become better. He apologizes and says she has been going through a lot lately. He suggests they forget Isaac and have a nice night with cocktails. She agrees, but inside she reveals that she does not want to make amends with Isaac. She wants him to admit what he did.
