Victor is back in New York and finally calls Lauren's hall. Lauren answers and recognizes Victor's voice. Lauren tells Victor she has missed him and asks why he had not called before this. Victor does not recognize the voice and tells the person he actually called to talk to Jamie. Lauren disconnects the call. Later, Lauren with swollen eyes from crying and stoned out of her mind, is with Sean. She vaguely remembers Sean crying and screaming at someone on the phone. Through her haze she sees Sean pack some things and leave. Later, Lauren beds down with Noel but thoughts return to Victor.

Sean recalls the last time he saw his father. His father was very sick and dying with yellowed skin and a frail body. But Sean did not rush off to New York to see his sick father...
