Clay who is referred to as the Guy from L A misses California and finds things depressing at Camden, especially due to a recent murder and the suicide of a female student. Clay stays stoned and is afraid of the Commons area due to a myth about dead Indians rising up with tomahawks poised. Paul confronts Sean about their relationship being over. Sean mainly ignores him and answers very curtly. Sean has nothing but Lauren on his mind. Lauren is still looking for word from Victor. She is bored with Sean. All he does is drink beer and play video games. Someone tells her is a drug dealer.
Sean and Lauren attend a party at her Poetry professor's home. He is retiring and is holding a small gathering. Sean really doesn't want to attend. He's jealous of the Professor, but Lauren...
