Summary
Lucy stops speaking to Ariel and Ariel is upset to have lost Lucy's friendship. She feels that Lucy is responsible for the breakdown of their relationship and feels entitled to updates on Lucy's recovery. DJ tells Ariel she needs to accept Lucy's need for distance.
Out of desperation, Ariel goes to an A.A. meeting. She hears people share their own stories of living with alcoholics but does not feel like she has anything in common with them. Then Ariel reads a list of Dos and Don'ts for the family members of alcoholics and realizes she has done everything on the "Don't" list. Regardless, Ariel is still annoyed by the members of her support group and cannot relate to them.
