Summary

In the time that has passed since Bex and Nick became engaged, Marj, the royal publicist, has taken Bex on as her newest project. Her office is covered with note cards detailing stylists, plans, and a complex timeline leading up to when Nick and Bex will reveal their engagement on Christmas Day. Bex has been carefully re-introduced into Nick’s public life at events like polo matches. The relationship is top-secret, though, and Bex is not even allowed to tell her family. After pranking Bex with fake jewelry boxes, Nick finally presents Bex with her real ring inside a Cracker Jack box. The ring, known as the Lyons Emerald, belonged to Emma. Nick then surprises Bex with Nancy and Lacey, who have not yet been allowed to know about the engagement.
