Summary
At the start of Part Three, Chapter Four, Bex is Skyping with Earl about the latest Chicago Cubs game. She has reconnected with her parents after avoiding them during her binge. Bex returns to work at the Soane museum and dedicates herself to the job completely. She develops a new initiative called Paint Britain, which provides art classes to at-risk children. Bex also starts dating “proper, employed” (254) guys again, though she admits she is unable to develop real feelings for them. Lacey has also moved out of Bex’s apartment, and keeps herself busy dating various guys.
