Summary
Part Two, Chapter One opens with Bex reflecting on Freddie’s brashness and well-known sexual exploits. She looks forward to the day when she will meet him, as she feels it is the first step in solidifying her relationship with Nick.
One night, Bex, Nick, and their friends are at a club. They have been dating for for a year and a half, and their relationship is still exciting behind closed doors--but nowhere close to being public. Bex reflects on the past year: telling her parents and Lacey about the relationship, hurrying to finish her degree at Cornell so she could return to England, and finding a job as an illustrator at a greeting card company. Meanwhile, Richard has continued to insult Bex and insist Nick rekindle his relationship with India. Back at the club, Bex and Nick...
