Summary
The Rosie Project begins with associate genetics professor, Don Tillman, weighing the options he has to complete household tasks on an evening when he has agreed to substitute for his colleague, Gene, in delivering a talk on Asperger's syndrome at the university where he teaches genetics in Melbourne, Australia. Gene, who is the head of the psychology department, is unable to deliver the talk because he plans to have sex with a visiting academic from Chile and that would add to his collection of conquests from all over the world. Gene's wife, Claudia, is a clinical psychologist and the two of them have tried to fix Don up with eligible women to date.
