Osla Kendall
Osla Kendall is an affluent woman who lives in London. At the beginning of the war, she moves to Bletchley Park out of a desire to serve what she sees as her country, even after her mother sent her to Canada. Osla quickly bonds with Mab and Beth and encourages both of them throughout the novel. She also builds a relationship with Philip, the Prince of Greece, but is forced to break it off with him in order to keep her job. This and her experience in an air raid causes Osla to question herself and struggle to process her feelings. Instead, she writes letters to the man who saved her in the bombing, and later marries him after breaking off the engagement with Giles.
