Summary

In Chapter 13, on the first day of classes, the administrators at Foggy Bottom distributed checks in the amount of $10,000 to each student for living expenses. Todd and Mark showed up at the end of the day to pick up their checks and then went to The Rooster Bar. Todd’s boss, Maynard owned that bar and had allowed Todd and Mark both to work there. They decided to go into hiding by having fake driver’s licenses printed for both of them. Mark became Mark Frasier while Todd became Todd Lane. They bought cell phones under their aliases and printed business cards for the law clinic of Upshaw, Parker & Lane. They listed the address as that of The Rooster Bar.
