Chapters 31-35 Summary
At the beginning of chapter thirty-one, Wussy, Sam, and Ned are in Sam's convertible driving to the Big Bend Hunting Lodge. When they walk into the lodge, both the bartender and a woman sitting on the bar are topless. Sam tells Ned this is a late graduation present. Ned comes to later in bed with a woman named Marion. Actually, Marion isn't her name. She is from Marion, Illinois. On their way back to Mohawk in the convertible, Ned realizes that sometime during the night he was separated from his duffel bag. Sam and Ned break into the Night Owl to retrieve his duffel bag behind the bar. When they exit, they run into Andy Winkler, the smallest cop Ned has ever seen—and thankfully a friend of Sam's. Andy lets them off the hook, and then Sam drives them...
