One of a new line of Pax starships containing GIDEON drives, the archangels are capable of delivering messages or striking with force across great interstellar distances.

The second of two archangel ships to bear the name, the Raphael is the archangel-class starship commanded by Father Captain Federico DeSoya.

The Consul's Ship

The personal starship of the Consul, one of the Hyperion pilgrims, the ship is a older Hegemony starship. Since it contains a Hawking drive, any passengers traveling the the Consul's ship between systems will incur relativity time debt. The ship is distinguished from other starships by its great age, and by its powerful AI. It passed down to Martin Silenus after the death of the Consul.
