Section 8: Chapters 22-24 Summary

In Chapter 22: Leroy Meets the Locker of Doom, people begin screaming about a rabid moose right as Carter, Sadie and Bast get through security, and since Carter cannot allow the Set animal to hurt these people, he summons his box from the Duat, telling Bast to take Sadie ahead. He engages in battle with Leroy, and when he feels his strength fading, he thinks of his locker in the Duat and locks Leroy inside. When Bast convinces Carter to sleep to heal from his battle, his ba travels to Phoenix, entering a crevice in Camelback Mountain where he sees the mountain has been hollowed out to allow for construction of a giant, red pyramid. Claiming it is time to use Amos and they will soon have a family reunion with Horus, Isis and Nephthys bowing at his feet, Set...
