Bryn Carreg
Bryn Carreg is the name of the property Gentry owns outside Wichita where he is building a castle. The property has a tremendous view and Edrard and Rosalinda live on a lower part of the land, near where Gentry parks when he and Zee arrive for the weekend. There is also a pond on the property, and this is where Charlene throws Gentry's sword after he goes to prison. Zee retrieves it and presents it to Gentry as a symbol of her loyalty and understanding. Gentry is building the castle of stone and it is an enormous undertaking. This is where Zee and Rosalinda spread Edrard's ashes, and is the setting for the final scene of the novel.
