Summary
Caroline lies naked beside Josh, and certain realities come home to her. First and foremost, the physical encounter she’d had all those years ago could not even be held in the same plane of being as what she had just enjoyed, and secondly the realization that Josh would find a man or woman his own age and no one could ever know about her and Josh.
