Chapters 44 and 45 Summary

It's dark when Adam arrives at Cabeswater with a flashlight. Near the stream, Adam comes across some bowls that are set up in conspicuous places.

Neeve parks off the road and walks with Whelk into Cabeswater. She sets everything up for the ritual. Whelk grabs a branch and hits Neeve in the head with it twice. He ties her up with the rope she used to tie him. When he looks up, he sees Adam Parrish.

Blue, Ronan and Gansey arrive. They find where Adam has parked the Pig. They go into Cabeswater with their flashlights. When they reach Noah's abandoned car, a finger is writing murdered over and over again on the window. Blue remembers how Persephone told Ronan that his father was killed because of a secret and that Ronan knows what it is as they walk deeper into...
