Chapters 42 and 43 Summary

Gansey wakes in the middle of the night. He hears Noah's voice far off in the distance. Noah says Adam. Gansey goes to Noah's old room and sees that Adam and some of Adam's things are gone. Gansey looks outside to see the Camaro is gone. Gansey wakes Ronan up to tell him Adam's gone to wake the ley line.

Maura comes to Blue's room. She apologizes for not being straight with Blue about her father. Maura tells Blue his name was Artemus. Maura says that she, Calla and Persephone were messing around with rituals, and Maura thinks they released Artemus from Cabeswater. Maura says she thinks when Blue was born that another ritual was performed that trapped Artemus back in Cabeswater.
