Chapters 36 and 37 Summary

Ronan drives Adam to the double-wide trailer Adam lives in with his family. When Adam goes inside the house, his father accuses Adam of lying to them about how much money he's been making working. Adam's father starts to punch Adam. When Mr. Parrish strikes Adam on the side of his head, Adam can no longer hear out of the ear on that side of his head.

Ronan comes inside to defend dam. Ronan and Mr. Parrish fight until the police arrive. Adam tells the police his father did this to him and asked if he can press charges.
