Chapters 28 and 29 Summary

Gansey and Blue arrive at the church. The glove compartment in Gansey's car pops open and the contents spill out onto Blue's lap. Blue sees the EpiPen as she puts everything back into the glove compartment. They walk through the churchyard with Gansey's meter blinking green as they walk on the line. She tells him about killing her one true love if she kisses him and asks Gansey not to tell Adam.

Gansey tells Blue he is badly allergic to bees. Tells her a story about when he was a kid. He stepped on a hornets' nest and was stung to death. He heard a voice say that he will live to search for Glendower because someone is dying on the line right now. As they walk into the woods, Gansey's detection machine stops working. Suddenly, Blue steps on a human...
