Chapters 18 and 19 Summary

Gansey thinks about how alike he and Gansey are as Whelk searches Gansey's locker. Whelk finds numerous spiral bound notebooks full of notes. Whelk puts a note in the locker saying the contents were removed while spraying for roaches. Then, Whelk takes the notebooks into the bathroom.

He sees a lot of information about Glendower and the ley lines. Whelk realizes that Gansey is even more obsessed with the ley lines than Whelk was at Gansey's age. Whelk goes to photocopy the notebook pages, while thinking that if he is the one to find Glendower that he'll ask to control the ley lines, which is what he's wanted all along.
