Chapters 16 and 17 Summary

An odd screeching noise wakes up Gansey and Noah. Gansey goes into Ronan's room. He looks at Ronan's tattoo that covers the back of his neck and some of his back. This is when Gansey realizes that the noise is coming from the Raven, which Ronan is feeding. The boys have a discussion about the raven and about what happened at the psychic reading.

When Gansey returns to his room, he hears what sounds like a wasp or bee buzzing at his window. He thinks about his EpiPen, but realizes it is in his car. Gansey gets out of bed and is standing over the insect when Ronan comes into Gansey's room and kills the wasp.

Ronan asks about Gansey and Adam leaving. Ronan also says that something is happening, that something feels bigger that what they know or can...
