Chapters 2 and 3 Summary

Gansey calls his friend Ronan to tell him to bring some cash and some food because Pig stopped. Pig is what Gansey calls his bright orange Camaro. Ronan asks where Gansey has been because Ronan thought Gansey was dead in a ditch somewhere when Gansey missed class. Gansey tells Ronan to come and to bring Adam with him.

While Gansey waits for Ronan and Adam, he rummages through his glove compartment to see if he has any food. He has an EpiPen and an expired stick of beef jerky. In the back seat of the car, Ronan observes the supplies he's collected in the eighteen months he's been in Henrietta.

Gansey thinks about sitting outside of the churchyard on St. Mark's Eve. He was hoping to see or find something, but he doesn't know quite what it is he is looking...
