PART II—Pages 52-61 Summary

In PART II, pages 52-61, officer Kendall leads Jason into the police headquarters building. Jason remembers how the officer arrived at his home that morning. The officer tells Jason' mom that they've brought in special interrogators to jog the memories of those walking the streets on Monday. This is why they want to question Jason again at headquarters. Jason's mother lets him go alone because she has to take his sister to the doctor.
