Part II—Pages 11-16 Summary

In Part II, pages 11-16, Jason Dorrant wakes up to his first day f summer vacation between his seventh and eighth grade year. He introduces his family to the reader. He has an eight year old sister, Emma, who is very intelligent. His mother does a lot of volunteer work and his father is a big New England Patriots fan. Right now, his father is on a business trip in London. He plans on spending the morning at the Y swimming while his mom does her exercises and then the afternoon alone at home, while his sister is at her friend's house and his mom is doing her volunteer work.
