Frostburg Federal Prison Camp

Frostburg Federal Prison Camp is a low-security facility that houses nonviolent prisoners and those sentenced to ten years or less. This is where Malcolm Bannister is serving his last five years of prison.

Safety Deposit Boxes

Malcolm and Vanessa deposit the gold bars in safety deposit boxes at several banks. They do this to ensure that the government or anyone else will not discover they have the bars.

Gold bars

The gold bars, which are mini-bars, each weighing ten ounces, were paid to Judge Fawcett by Armanna Mines as a bribe in a legal case. They were stolen by Nathan Cooley who then lost them to Malcolm Bannister.

Lake Higgins

Judge Fawcett had a cabin at Lake Higgins, which is located in southwest Virginia. It is there that Nathan Cooley kills the Judge and his secretary, Naomi Clary, and steals the gold bars.
