Chapter 5, 6, 7, 8 Summary

In chapter five, Malcolm requests a meeting with the warden. He claims that his grandmother is dying, hoping that this will get him an audience. Both of his grandmothers died many years before. Several days pass before he is granted his request. The warden, Robert Earl Wade, has made a career in the field of corrections. Malcolm helped him with legal advice regarding his divorce.

Malcolm tells the warden that he knows who killed Judge Raymond Fawcett. He claims to have met the killer, but will not divulge where. Malcolm wants the warden to contact the FBI on his behalf.

Malcolm recalls his arrest during a Downtown Civic Club meeting. He was taken into custody by a large number of federal agents and members of a SWAT team. At the same time as Malcolm was being arrested another team of agents were confiscating...
