Summary

Lilliet arrived at Odile’s salon called l’Hotel des Majuers-Plainsirs. Odile explained that Lilliet had one week to decide if she wanted to work for her as a courtesan. She was free to leave at any time, assuming her debt was paid, and could only stay as long as her work pleased Odile. She had Lilliet observe various sessions between gentleman and her girls. Lilliet realized that the Hotel got many high paying visitors with specific fantasies. Realizing she has no other safe option, Lilliet agreed to work for Odile. Later, she learned from Euphrosyne someone had stolen her brooch and savings during her incarceration.
