Elfhame

Elfhame is the region in Faerieland. Elfhame is made up of several islands, Insmire, Insmoor, Insweal, and Insear. The Palace of Elfhame is where Cardan lives as king. The palace, along with several other estates – Locke's Estate and Madoc's Stronghold – are located on Insmire. The Tower of Forgetting is on the island of Insweal. The islands are surrounded by sea ruled by Orlagh, the Queen of the Undersea.

The Mortal World

Jude was banished to the mortal world, though Cardan never expected her to remain there and actually gave her a way to return. This world is where Jude lives with Vivienne and Oak, and they struggle to make ends meet. Jude does work for magical creatures that live here, which is how she meets Grima Mog.
