Summary
In Chapter 25, Jude is with her sisters, Heather, and Oak in her room. Taryn asks if this truce is a good course. Oak wants to help Suren, but she is adamant that he does not want to marry her or become king. Vivienne asks if Taryn plans to take over Locke's estate, pointing out that she does not have to and does not have to have the baby. Heather assures Taryn she would not be judged. Jude chimes in, saying she could cut off the hands of anyone who did judge her. Taryn says she wants to keep the baby. Jude asks Heather if she found any information in the library.
