Summary
In “Ignoring,” in Honey’s absence Josh “was less talkative” (145). Although he kept visiting, he mostly ignored Saoirse.
In “Stuck,” Nana told Saoirse Josh was “stuck on [her]” (147). Saoirse insisted they were just friends. Nana said “no woman” should waste her time “being friends with men” (148).
In “Move,” Saoirse did not know how to handle the Josh situation. If Nana was right, Saoirse felt Josh would have to confess his feelings first. She also felt confused because of Honey. She loved Honey and was unsure if she was still with Josh. However, she soon realized she “wanted Josh” (150).
In “Affair,” once they started seeing each other, Saoirse felt guilty. When they became intimate, Saoirse was sure “it was love” (152).
