Adam Braun
Adam Braun was born into a world of privilege. He was born and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, in an upscale neighborhood that was insulated from the reality of those in developing nations who lived in poverty and squalor. He was taught by his father and mother, a dentist and orthodontist respectively, to work hard, be successful and to always focus on those who were less fortunate.
Adam attended Brown University with plans of becoming an investment banker or hedge fund manager like many wealthy neighbors in his community. During his first year at Brown, he joined the Semester at Sea program that allowed him to travel to Asia and Africa where he encountered conditions that he never imagined. Adam was jolted into the real world when he met the people who lived in the poor villages he visited. He was especially moved by the poor children...
