Greenwich
Adam Braun was born and raised in an upscale neighborhood in Greenwich, Connecticut. The public schools in Greenwich were among the best in the nation. The town was also famous for its culture of volunteerism and diversity that both were great motivators in Adam’s later life.
Brown University
Adam chose to major in economics at Brown University. He wanted to emulate the success of many of his neighbors who were wealthy investment bankers on Wall Street. Adam was also a star basketball player in high school and Brown would fulfill his dream of playing Division 1 basketball. After graduating from Brown, he was hired by Bain Capital, a Wall Street investment concern.
