Summary
Adam was contacted by John Nolan, a wealthy friend of his father’s, who had a business proposition he wanted to tell him about. He wanted to start an e-commerce business and needed someone like Adam to run it. He would make Adam the co-founder and CEO. John told Adam to run his PoP on the side. He would make a six-figure salary, have equity in the company and full benefits and be driven back and forth to the office by limo every day. Adam sustained a serious injury that required surgery. He had no insurance which made him take John’s offer more seriously.
