Summary
David and Claire talk to each other after Helen leaves, and Claire says that she had become pregnant by David. However, she aborted the pregnancy because she wanted to wait until she knew that David wanted to have a child with her. She says that she loves David and would love to have a child with him when he feels ready. David and Claire go back to their home, where they now live together, in the suburbs of New York City.
