Summary
David and Donald talk on the phone regarding Helen’s arrest. Police had planted cocaine on her, likely after being ordered to do so by Jimmy Metcalf. Donald says that he will do everything he can to free Helen. David is able to do nothing to help, so he simply goes about his routine, and he finds that he is actually quite happy in Helen’s absence. David flies to Hong Kong to pick up Helen after her release. David cannot imagine why he is doing so except that, in a way, he must still love Helen. David and Helen fly back to the United States together. They confess that they have never committed infidelities against one another, and they wonder if they should have had a child together.
